COVERAGE
|
DESCRIPTION
|
|
Liability
|
This
typically
provides
coverage to an
insured business
for legal
obligations to
pay damages due
to bodily injury
to others or for
damage to their
property arising
out of a covered
loss.
|
|
Medical
Payments
|
Provides
coverage for
doctor,
hospital, and
reasonable and
necessary
surgical
expenses
incurred by you,
covered family
members, and
your covered
passengers due
to a covered
accident
regardless of
the insured's
fault.
|
|
Collision
|
Collision
Coverage
typically covers
an insured automobile
for damage
caused by a
collision with
another object
or from the auto
being
overturned.
Collision
Coverage is
usually required
if you have a
loan or lease on
your business
vehicles. Here,
you choose a
deductible
amount instead
of a limit. The
deductible is
the portion of a
covered loss
that you pay
before the
insurance
company becomes
responsible for
payment under
the policy. A
larger
deductible
usually means a
lower premium.
|
|
Comprehensive
|
This
coverage
provides
protection to an
insured automobile for
covered losses
not caused by
collision or
from the car being
overturned. It
typically
provides
protection
including but
not limited to
covered loss
caused by fire,
theft, hail,
flood or
vandalism.

Rental
Reimbursement
|
If
you have a
covered
comprehensive or
collision loss
as an insured
person, this
coverage
typically
reimburses you
for the cost of
renting cars from a rental
agency or
garage, up to
the dollar
amount limit per
day shown on
your policy.
Please note:
this optional
coverage is only
available if
you’ve also
purchased comprehensive
coverage.
